Connecting social accounts
Creaton publishes through each network’s official API, with the permissions you approve. Here is what you can connect, how, and what to do when a connection stops working.
What you can connect
| Network | What you connect | How |
|---|---|---|
| Pages you manage | Sign in with Facebook and tick the Pages to share. | |
| Professional (Business or Creator) accounts | Instagram Business Login. Personal accounts cannot publish through any API. | |
| X | Your profile | Sign in with X and approve posting. |
| Your personal profile | Sign in with LinkedIn. | |
| LinkedIn Pages | Company pages where you are an administrator | A separate LinkedIn approval for page posting. |
| TikTok | Creator accounts | Sign in with TikTok and approve video publishing. |
| Telegram | Channels and groups | Your own bot, added as an administrator (below). |
A network shows Coming soon when it has not been switched on for Creaton yet.
Facebook and Instagram
- On Accounts, press Connect next to Facebook (or Instagram).
- Approve the requested permissions. On the Pages screen, choose Opt in to all current and future Pages or tick each Page — Creaton only sees what you tick.
- Back in Creaton, every shared Page appears as its own account.
If you see “No Facebook Pages were shared”, run the connection again and tick at least one Page. If an Instagram account refuses every request, it is a personal account — switch it to Business or Creator in the Instagram app.
Telegram channels and groups
- In Telegram, open @BotFather, send
/newbot, follow the steps and copy the token it gives you. - Add that bot to your channel or group as an administrator who can post messages.
- In Creaton, press Connect on Telegram and paste the bot token and the channel: its public
@username, at.melink, or the numeric chat id for a private channel.
Telegram is the only destination that accepts audio files, so voice-overs can be posted there directly.
Reconnecting and disconnecting
- An account marked Needs reconnecting has an expired or revoked token (for example after you changed your password on the network). Press Reconnect — your scheduled posts keep pointing at it.
- Disconnect erases the token immediately. Posts scheduled to that account skip it.
- You can also remove Creaton from the connected apps in the network’s own settings.
