Scheduling and the calendar

Schedule a post once and Creaton publishes it on time, to every account, while you are doing something else.

How scheduling works

  • The time you pick is in the time zone set in Settings. Change it there if you travel or publish for another market.
  • A scheduler checks every minute and publishes posts whose time has arrived — so posts go out within about a minute of their time.
  • Each account is published separately, so one network refusing never blocks the others.

The calendar

Calendar shows a month at a time: scheduled posts, published posts and failures, each with its accounts. Open any post to edit, reschedule or duplicate it. Plan a week in one sitting by duplicating a post and changing the text and the date.

When something fails

  • If a scheduled post could not be delivered anywhere, you get an email with the reason the network gave and a link to the post.
  • Fix the cause (reconnect the account, shorten the text, add an image) and press Retry failed.
  • If publishing was interrupted on our side, the post is marked failed after 20 minutes with the reason “Publishing was interrupted” — retry it.

Publishing needs an active subscription. If your subscription has lapsed, posts that fall due are marked failed with the reason “Your Creaton subscription is not active” instead of going out days late. After you renew, retry them from Posts.
