Payment methods
Creaton takes payments through the same gateways as Mersal. Pick the one you already use; the wallet always receives the dollar amount you chose.
Instant methods
| Method | Charged in | Credited | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| PayPal | US dollars | Instantly | PayPal balance or any card linked to PayPal. PayPal’s handling fee is added and shown before you pay. |
| Card or mobile wallet (Kashier) | Egyptian pounds | Instantly | Bank cards, Egyptian mobile wallets and valU, on Kashier’s secure page. The pound amount is shown before you pay. |
Manual transfers
| Method | Charged in | Credited |
|---|---|---|
| InstaPay | Egyptian pounds | After we check your receipt, usually within a few working hours |
| Vodafone Cash and other Egyptian mobile wallets | Egyptian pounds | After we check your receipt |
- Choose the amount and the method and press Continue to payment.
- The next page shows the exact amount in pounds, where to send it, and your reference (
CRT-…). Write the reference in the transfer note if your app allows it. - Send the money, then come back and enter the number or name you sent from and upload a screenshot or PDF of the transfer.
- We match it and credit your wallet. If we cannot confirm it, we email you the reason.
Currency and fees
- Prices and the wallet are in US dollars. A method that charges in pounds converts at the rate shown on the Billing page; that rate is fixed for that payment.
- Gateway fees, where they exist, are added on top and shown before you pay, so the wallet receives the full amount you chose.
- Your bank may add its own fees for foreign-currency card payments.
Security
Card and wallet details are entered on PayPal’s or Kashier’s own page. Creaton never sees or stores card numbers. We only keep the amount, the method, the status and the gateway’s reference.
If something goes wrong
- You paid but the wallet did not change: card payments sometimes take a minute to confirm. Refresh Billing. If it is still missing after 15 minutes, write to support with the time and the amount.
- The gateway page said the payment failed: nothing is credited and nothing should have been taken. Try again or choose another method.
- You cancelled at the gateway: the payment is marked “Not completed”. Nothing is charged.
