Writing and publishing posts
The composer is where a post is written, illustrated, checked against each network and sent. One post can go to many accounts at once.
Writing
Type in the text box, or open the AI assistant beside it: describe the post you want, or leave the prompt empty to work on the text already there. Quick actions — Rewrite, Shorten, Expand, Hashtags, Translate to — replace or add below your text. Pick a tone and a language for the result.
Media
- Upload an image, video or audio file, choose from your library, or generate an image without leaving the composer.
- A post carries either images or one video, not both.
- Audio files can only be posted to Telegram.
- Instagram and TikTok need at least an image or a video.
Destinations and checks
Tick the accounts under Publish to. Creaton checks the post against each network as you type:
| Network | Max characters | Max images | Needs media |
|---|---|---|---|
| 63,206 | 10 | No | |
| 2,200 | 10 | Yes | |
| X | 280 | 4 | No |
| 3,000 | 9 | No | |
| LinkedIn Pages | 3,000 | 9 | No |
| TikTok | 2,200 | 10 | Yes |
| Telegram | 4,096 | 10 | No |
The Preview shows how the post will look on each selected network.
Sending
- Publish now sends straight away and shows the result per account.
- Schedule post sends at the date and time you pick, in your time zone (see Scheduling).
- Save draft keeps it without a date.
After it is sent
Each account succeeds or fails on its own. A post can be Published, Partly published or Failed, with the network’s reason next to each account. Retry failed sends again only to the accounts that failed. A published post is locked — use Duplicate to reuse its content. Deleting a post in Creaton does not delete what is already on the networks.
